I’m Jay. Lake District born, camera in hand. I bring the energy. Not fake hype, not forced moments. Just the kind of presence that lifts a room when it needs it and disappears when it doesn’t.
I don’t turn weddings into productions. I don’t slow things down. I don’t make it about me.
I read the room, move with it, and catch it as it actually felt.

Carvetii comes from an old Cumbrian tribe. Built on place, story, and something that lasts. I started out shooting landscapes, chasing light and timing, waiting for something real instead of forcing it. That hasn’t changed.
Nothing staged. Nothing repeated. Nothing that isn’t you.
This isn’t about ticking boxes or following a template. It’s about holding onto something real. Something you’ll come back to years from now and still feel properly.
When I’m not filming, I’m with my wife and our two kids. That’s what locked this in for me. How fast it all moves. How much the in-between moments matter.
So yeah, this matters.
